Job Summary
Support Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid-term changes to risk. Request and review underwriting information on behalf of Commercial clients, then prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips. Utilise Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers while collaborating with Placement Teams to produce client reports. Produce and/or request Insurer documentation to ensure smooth administration of insurance programmes. This role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office (with an anchor day for Plymouth, Exeter, or Newquay teams) and two days from home. We welcome candidates with experience in insurance account handling, claims, or underwriting, or those with strong academic records seeking a long-term career in the insurance sector.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in an insurance, account management, or any other insurance related client-facing role
- Strong academic record
- A desire to get into insurance
- Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional when managing competing priorities and working within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks simultaneously
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and other business systems
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent client outcomes
- A good awareness of clients' business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans
- Previous experience within commercial insurance, fleet insurance, or a related industry
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A client-focused mindset with a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
