Job Summary
Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas, including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and stock bathrooms with supplies. Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, and elevators while dusting furniture, walls, and equipment. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Ensure cleaning supplies remain in a safe, secure area and complete standardized processes per company standards. Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment while attending required staff meetings and training. Perform physically demanding tasks including stooping, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. This second shift role at CBRE Government and Defense involves occasional exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow established work routines and procedures
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Reliable and dependable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or a similar field
