Job Summary
CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a part-time night-shift Commercial Cleaner in Annapolis, MD. Responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, stocking bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap; cleaning storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and windows; dusting furniture and surfaces; maintaining secure stock of cleaning supplies; following standardized cleaning processes and safety procedures; using chemical cleaners and power equipment; attending regular staff meetings and trainings; executing tasks per established routines with accuracy; and working independently or as part of a team while able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of custodial/ facilities experience; no specific certifications required, though relevant certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in custodial/facilities/maintenance
- Experience in cleaning, custodial, or similar fields preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) and work in environments with heat, cold, dust, chemicals
- Follows established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to attend required trainings
