Job Summary
Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor. Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap. Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, dust furniture, walls, and equipment, and clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Ensure cleaning supplies remain in a safe, secure area and complete a detailed checklist for each designated area. Follow standardized cleaning processes and chemical safety procedures while attending staff meetings and training sessions. This role supports the Cleaning Services function within J&J Worldwide Services CBRE Government and Defense Business, ensuring the cleanliness of client and company buildings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- up to 2 years of job-related experience
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills
- inquisitive mindset
- Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to stoop, stand, walk, and climb stairs
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker)
- Ability to pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
