Job Summary
Perform commercial carpentry on renovation and construction projects (retail/build-out). Activities include layout, framing, blocking, drywall, and finish carpentry; install doors, hardware, fixtures, and millwork; read and interpret blueprints and project specifications; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and fellow tradespeople; follow OSHA and site safety requirements. Strong attention to detail, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently are valued; experience in active retail or commercial environments is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
- Experience in active retail or commercial environments is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training available if needed)
