Job Summary
Lead strategic sourcing, evaluation, selection, and contracting for assigned categories while developing and optimizing the supplier base to foster stable partnerships. Conduct in-depth cost analysis and market research to establish competitive pricing, manage the procurement budget, and drive continuous improvement through supplier performance reviews. Participate in new product development projects as the procurement representative, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure activities are completed on time and within budget. Identify and manage supply chain risks, including geopolitical issues and price volatility, while drafting and reviewing procurement contracts to ensure full compliance with business ethics and sustainability policies. Collaborate effectively with internal functions to resolve process issues and optimize procurement systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of automotive procurement experience, and fluency in English and Chinese.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of procurement experience within the automotive industry
- Strong proficiency in procurement processes and strategic sourcing methodologies
- Excellent negotiation and cost analysis skills
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 quality standards and core automotive tools such as APQP and PPAP
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and influencing skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural, cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using ERP and procurement systems such as SAP
- Fluency in both English and Chinese
