Job Summary
Commercial BD Manager for Discovery at ProBio CDMO, working remotely in Europe. Responsible for driving and supporting sales initiatives by implementing ProBio's discovery sales/marketing strategies, leveraging scientific knowledge and business acumen, expanding the sales territory, collaborating with Marketing and Sales, spending about 30% of time on quotes/leads and 70% traveling for customer visits to achieve sales targets, formulating and executing territory strategies with the Regional Commercial BD Manager, coordinating with the Area Director to secure business, understanding customer research applications in Discovery to match ProBio services, sharing market insights with Sales/Marketing teams through weekly field feedback, and driving market expansion with Industrial/Academic/Governmental sectors, with emphasis on life science services related to Discovery (e.g., Bioassays, Antibody, Cell Line Products/Services).
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or above in scientific disciplines, preferably life science areas relevant to the Antibody
- Relevant sales experience (1 - 3 years) in the Discovery business or related fields
- Market Knowledge of Biological and CRO/CDMO markets or biotech industry pertinent to Discovery such as Bioassays, Antibody, and Cell Line Products/Services
- International business skills to operate in global contexts
- Ability to forecast sales within the territory on a weekly basis in the Discovery business
