Job Summary
The Commercial Business and Financial Services Officer is responsible for developing and executing the Commercial and Business Segment for lending and deposit products. Key responsibilities include cross-selling Credit Union services to new and existing commercial members, managing member transactions accurately, and building strong relationships to enhance membership retention. This role requires collaboration with internal teams to improve product offerings and ensure compliance with policies. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of financial institution experience, specifically in commercial lending, with demonstrated customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 18 months Financial institution experience with prior loan experience and reaching service and performance goals
- Commercial lending and business services experience
- Working knowledge of business deposit and loan products, commercial cash management experience
- Proven ability to garner business
- Demonstrated ability to operate office machines to include 10-key
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs
- Excellent customer service and problem resolutions skills
- Proficient with PC and demonstrated ability to use Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone
Desired Qualifications

- Presentation skills and self starter
- Able to work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced, high pressure environment with multiple &/or constantly changing environments
