Job Summary
Building Operator is responsible for overseeing multiple commercial properties in Ottawa, performing maintenance requests, inspecting properties, completing minor repairs, coordinating contractors, conducting scheduled maintenance on building equipment and meter readings, and performing winter shovelling. The role requires travel between properties with your own vehicle and participation in a regular on-call rotation; shifts are 8 hours, Monday to Friday, with evenings/weekends on call. Requires ability to perform cleaning/grounds work as needed and to respond to tenant maintenance needs in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Equipment maintenance experience preferred
- Building Operator experience preferred
- Own vehicle required
- Willing to travel between properties
- Willing to participate in on-call rotation
- 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
- On-site work
