Job Summary
Interview members for commercial loans, deposits, and services; make decisions within lending authority or provide referrals for complex cases. Perform offsite visits and conduct in-person assistance across all relationship areas. Recommend, educate, and sell Magnifi Financial products while expanding relationships through follow-ups and outbound calls. Review financial information with members to assess strengths and weaknesses. Collaborate with the credit function to complete presentations, financial analyses, and risk ratings. Develop and maintain a commercial deposit, loan, and services portfolio that meets organizational guidelines. Pursue new business relationships to ensure sufficient loan, deposit, and service volumes. Perform loan closings, collections, and negotiations on problem loans. Assist members with government and third-party sponsored programs like SBA and FSA. Train and mentor other commercial bankers and staff. Participate in community relations efforts to support member visibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Eight years of commercial lending experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained from related experience
- Notary Public designation within 3 months of start date
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance with minimum liability limits within Magnifi Financial policy
- Must be bondable
- May work in multiple branches to accommodate member needs

- Preferred SBA Lender status
- Farm Service Agency (FSA) Preferred Lender
