Job Summary
Solicit, negotiate, and underwrite small business loans, commercial real estate loans, and Agency guaranteed loans up to $1 million in compliance with Bank policies. Manage existing commercial relationships, monitor credit quality, and coordinate loan processing while ensuring collateral certification and fund transfers. Engage in business development by representing the Bank at community functions, interviewing prospective applicants, and identifying cross-sell opportunities for cash management, leasing, and wealth services. Assist in meeting annual deposit and loan growth goals through active sales participation and leadership of less experienced branch staff. Requires periodic travel to client locations and extended computer use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in commercial banking
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to be punctual for scheduled work and use time appropriately
- Perform duties in a conscientious, cooperative manner
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, including BSA and Information Security policies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect the Bank by keeping information concerning Bank operations and customer information confidential
