Job Summary
Commercial Banker – Vice President focused on acquiring and growing profitable client relationships within the commercial banking space. You will serve as the focal point for introducing comprehensive financial solutions to businesses, engage with CEOs and CFOs, collaborate with internal partners, and drive client-centric strategies, innovation, and efficiency across the bank's products and services to originate, retain, and expand a portfolio aligning with companies typically generating $20 million to $2 billion in revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Five plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses preferred or may be required within 180 days of hire
