Job Summary
Government Commercial Banker role focused on acquiring new clients and nurturing relationships with government entities (cities, counties, school districts, and other government bodies). Collaborate with product specialists from Treasury, Public Finance, Securities Trading, and Asset Management and Leasing to deliver the full range of services. Drive innovation and efficiency through automation; stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities and strategic partnerships. Requires deep knowledge of Commercial Banking products, proven sales results, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
