Job Summary
Commercial Banker in Emerging Middle Market Banking focused on acquiring and growing relationships with mid-market companies (revenues $20M-$100M). Acts as the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationship management, collaborating with internal partners to introduce comprehensive solutions and drive profitable relationships. Requires a proven track record in lending/credit, strong relationship and sales skills, ability to engage with CEOs and CFOs, market knowledge, and the capacity to work with senior partners to deliver strategic financial advice. This role emphasizes customer-centric relationship-building, industry awareness, and applying innovative approaches to banking solutions, with responsibilities spanning prospecting, client management, and cross-functional collaboration. Required Qualifications
- Five plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
