Job Summary
As a Commercial Banker in Emerging Middle Market Banking, you will be the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationships, focusing on companies with annual revenues ranging from $20 million to $100 million. You will work both independently and collaboratively to introduce comprehensive banking solutions to clients, grow and retain profitable relationships in the Emerging Middle Market segment, and engage with CEOs and CFOs. Responsibilities include championing a culture of innovation and customer-centricity, staying current with industry trends to identify opportunities, driving efficiency through automation while leveraging new technologies, and collaborating with internal partners to meet and exceed sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- Five plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
