Job Summary
Commercial Banker - Emerging Middle Market Banking – Vice President will be the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationships within the CBSI space (companies with revenues between $20M and $500M). Responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships by offering Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card and Chase Paymentech Solutions. Candidates should have a methodical market-activity approach, strong client relationship skills to engage with CEOs and CFOs, and ability to collaborate with internal partners. Requires five+ years lending/credit support, deep knowledge of commercial banking products, proven sales achievement, excellent organization, and strong interpersonal/influencing capabilities. Located in Oregon, US; full-time, on-site role with emphasis on building and maintaining strategic client partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Five plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
