Commercial Banker - Emerging Middle Market Banking - Vice President

Job Summary
Grow and manage an Emerging Middle Market Banking client portfolio by acquiring new relationships and retaining profitable long-term partnerships with CEOs and CFOs; lead client acquisition, cross-selling of comprehensive banking solutions, and collaboration with internal partners to drive revenue growth for companies with $20M-$100M in annual revenue; leverage market knowledge and innovative thinking to optimize credit and lending strategies while meeting sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- Five plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
