Job Summary
Commercial Banker in Emerging Middle Market Banking serves as the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationships, growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Emerging Middle Market target space (companies with $20M-$100M in annual revenues). Responsibilities emphasize a customer-centric mindset, industry awareness to identify partnerships, leveraging technology for efficiency, and collaborating with internal partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to CEOs and CFOs.
Required Qualifications
- Five plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
