Job Summary
Commercial Banker in the Disruptive Commerce and Internet Banking team focused on acquiring and retaining profitable relationships within Commercial & Specialized Industries. Build a market brand as the Leading Innovation Economy bank, develop new business, deepen existing relationships, and lead internal strategic discussions across solutions including credit and payments. Foster a customer-centric mindset balanced with risk management, stay current on industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships. Strong emphasis on relationship development with founders and innovative companies, plus collaboration with senior partners and control functions to deliver the full firm capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience
- Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Excellent sales management and business development skills
- Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
