Job Summary
Originating, underwriting, and closing secured and unsecured commercial loans while managing and growing a portfolio of commercial customers. Gather application data including credit reports and financial records, then negotiate loan terms and present credit requests to the loan committee when needed. Collaborate with Credit Administration for accurate processing, cross-sell deposit and fee-based services, and maintain compliance with internal policies. Actively represent the Bank in the community to support business development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, or a related financial field
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Proven ability to manage and grow a loan portfolio
- Deep understanding of credit risk and loan structuring
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and regulatory guidelines
- Community involvement and a strong local network
- Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses
- Proficiency in commercial loan software and CRM tools
