Job Summary
Assistant Baker supports the Lead Baker with daily cake production and organization, assisting in labeling, organizing, labeling, storage, and maintaining sanitation standards in a fast-paced morning bakery environment. The role requires physical stamina (standing and lifting), attention to detail, ability to maintain cleanliness and organization, and collaboration within a team to ensure quality and presentation of cakes for guests. Full-time Monday–Friday mornings with no weekend work, PTO/benefits for eligible employees, and employee cake discount are offered. No specific degree or prior bakery experience is required beyond a strong work ethic and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Food service or bakery experience preferred, but not required
