Job Summary
As Commercial Analyst (m/f/d) Power, Gas & Emissions, you will be an integral part of MB Energy’s fast-growing new energy business, supporting trading activities in power, gas and emissions markets, and contributing to front-office operations. You will assist with deal execution, commercial analysis, desk operations, P&L tracking, and exposure reporting; monitor market developments and trading performance; coordinate with Product Control, Back Office, and Market Risk teams; collaborate with senior traders; and pursue opportunities to grow into a trading role with direct commercial and P&L responsibility. You will work in a dynamic, data-driven environment with exposure to cross-functional stakeholders and develop deep knowledge of energy markets while leveraging analytical thinking and programming skills to drive commercial decisions.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or related field
- First experience in a front-office environment, ideally within power, gas, or emissions trading
- Programming skills in Python, VBA, or similar
- SQL and data analytics knowledge
