Job Summary
Prepare month-end commentary for executive management, consolidate weekly revenue forecasts using Power BI, and develop quarterly and yearly operating budgets. Analyze transactions to prepare correction entries, reconcile P&L accounts, and identify monthly variances. Provide financial support for organizational strategy development, assist with pricing strategies, and deliver management reporting through stakeholder collaboration. This 12-month hybrid role in Canberra or Sydney reports to the Commercial Manager, requiring proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Required Qualifications
- degree in Finance/Accounting
- at least 3-5 years experience in a commercial environment
- Qualified/Part qualified CA or CPA or degree qualified in a business discipline, preferably Finance
- Proven experience supporting financial cycles including budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Quick to grasp complex systems and processes
