Job Summary
Commercial Advisor role responsible for leading negotiations and day-to-day management of commercial agreements underpinning the Regulated Asset Business carbon transport and storage model, including TRI Model and Revenue Support Agreement; supports government funding/subsidy processes; develops strategy and mandates, maintains compliant relationships with customers and value chain participants, manages financial securities planning and third-party interfaces (legal counsel, commercial advisors), and tracks evolving policy/regulatory framework to position projects for success; collaboration with DESNZ, HMT, DBT, Ofgem, LCCC and other stakeholders; requires strong project economics, financial modelling, and CCUS policy knowledge; familiar with Joint Operating/Development Agreements, MOUs, confidentiality agreements, PPAs, subsidy frameworks, and tariff structures; MS Office/Excel modelling capability; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, energy, economics, or related discipline.
