Job Summary
Commercial Account Manager responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing clients while driving sales through retention and new business development. Responsibilities include proactive client communication, scheduling and conducting property visits, coordinating with service teams to resolve issues, preparing and delivering sales proposals, meeting sales goals (e.g., $200K in landscape enhancements and $100K in contracts annually), and nurturing key client relationships in lawn installation, irrigation, lawn maintenance, and pest control. Requires experience in landscaping sales or account management, knowledge of lawn care services, strong communication and relationship-building skills, CRM proficiency, ability to travel for site visits, and a valid driver’s license. Education includes an Associates degree preferred; 2–5 years of landscaping industry experience and at least 1 year of management or supervisory experience are expected. Required Qualifications
- Commercial account management or sales experience in landscaping, lawn care, or irrigation
- Strong knowledge of lawn installation, irrigation, maintenance, and pest control
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Problem-solving and client issue resolution
- Skilled in preparing and presenting sales proposals; track record of meeting sales goals
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM/operations software
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and conducting site visits
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Associates degree in Business Administration preferred
