Job Summary
Commercial Account Executive for the DACH region responsible for managing and expanding a sales pipeline, driving inbound and outbound leads through complex sales cycles to closed won, and growing usage-based and feature-based upsells from an existing account base. You will source and facilitate new projects, build compelling demonstrations with the pre-sales team, forecast to help hit numbers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (solutions engineers, customer success, legal, partners, marketing). Requires strong German and English; experience in B2B SaaS/MarTech sales; proactive outbound prospecting and partner collaboration; ability to define territory strategy and communicate value through ROI studies. The role supports remote or hybrid work within Germany and is aligned with Algolia’s flexible workplace strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of experience in a closing role (esp. in B2B, MarTech, SaaS tech sales)
- Excellent spoken and written German and English skills
- Hunter mindset with outbound prospecting skills
- Experience with partners (solution integrators, consultancies, ISVs) a plus
- Ability to build territory strategy and manage a sales pipeline
- Comfort with complex sales cycles and ROI-focused demonstrations
