Job Summary
Commercial Account Executive responsible for managing the full sales cycle for SMB prospects (1-500 employees) across all industries, including prospecting, discovery calls and demos, negotiating deals, and closing new and existing business. Conduct thorough research to understand customers' business challenges and demonstrate Box's value, influence internal and external stakeholders, develop a comprehensive territory plan, and schedule face-to-face visits within the assigned territory to build strong relationships. Requires an AI-first mindset, 1 year of sales experience with a proven ability to close deals, experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline management, and ability to identify growth opportunities in new territories; role entails working in a hybrid setup with a minimum of 3 days in the office in New York.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in sales
- Prior closing experience required
- Prior experience in B2B or technology sales is preferred but not required
- Experience in outbound prospecting and ability to build and manage a pipeline
- Proven success meeting KPIs
