Job Summary
Lead hardware design and implementation for the Command Systems Hardware within the SDS Division, directing cross-location hardware engineering execution, establishing hardware engineering processes, and ensuring on-time hardware delivery for Sentinel CS BU. Responsibilities include setting the design-automation vision, coordinating with program leadership, mentoring engineering staff, ensuring hardware meets requirements, integrating with supplier hardware and COTS, and engaging with customers and external stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's (or higher) in engineering, 10+ years of progressive engineering experience (or Master’s with 8+ years), 5+ years of people-management, and the ability to obtain/maintain US Government Secret Clearance; travel ~25% to support distributed programs; relocation assistance may be available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 10+ years progressive engineering experience
- 5+ years experience designing and developing hardware
- Experience managing people (5+ years)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance
- Experience with EVMS on hardware development programs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- US citizenship (required for government-related work)
