Job Summary
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems, access control platforms, and alarms across all Westgate resort properties while maintaining continuous situational awareness through live video feeds and emergency notifications. Serve as the primary communication hub between field teams, emergency responders, and corporate leadership during routine operations and critical incidents. Coordinate emergency management response efforts involving police, fire, and EMS personnel, preparing timely incident reports and distributing operational briefings to executives. Participate in emergency preparedness planning, exercises, and after-action reviews to support business continuity initiatives. Maintain accurate operational logs and assist with incident documentation and surveillance review.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in emergency management, security operations, command center operations, dispatch, surveillance monitoring, public safety, law enforcement support, military operations, crisis management, hospitality security, or a related field
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Emergency Operations Center (EOC), dispatch center, or command center environment
- FEMA ICS-100 and ICS-700 certifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to analyze incidents and determine appropriate response or escalation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Additional FEMA, NIMS, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or Security Operations certifications
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, video surveillance platforms, alarm monitoring systems, and emergency notification software
