Job Summary
Meet and greet storage buy customers and manage the storage buy pick-up process with the company's car topper program. Verify customer identity, obtain required information, and deliver orders in POS while complying with safety and phone answering SOPs. Clean and stock products according to brand standards and assist customers with product knowledge and selections. This role requires 1 year of retail sales experience and strong computer skills. The position involves a warehouse environment with moderate to noisy conditions and physical lifting of up to 60 pounds. Store hours run Monday through Sunday, with pickup hours available Monday through Sunday. Floor & Decor is a leading flooring retailer revolutionizing how people buy tile, wood, stone, and accessories.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of retail sales experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of store management and store associates
- Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience
- Must be a self-starter and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
