Job Summary
Support residents with daily routines, medication reminders, meal preparation, and transportation while monitoring behavior and providing interventions consistent with treatment plans. Document observations, progress notes, and incident reports accurately, assist with individualized service plans under clinical supervision, and promote a safe, trauma-informed living environment. Engage residents in therapeutic and community activities, respond to crises using de-escalation protocols, and communicate effectively with care teams, families, and external providers. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality assurance activities to support program effectiveness. This role is onsite at 162 Mountain Road, offering rotating shifts with a per diem pay range of $20.84–$29.79/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Medication Administration Program Certified [MAP - Massachusetts]
- Experience working in a human services, residential, behavioral health, or allied health setting 1-2 years
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities 1-2 years
- Basic knowledge of behavioral health conditions and support strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Ability to manage time, multitask, and respond to urgent needs calmly and effectively
- Commitment to person-centered care, equity, and cultural competence
- Familiarity with safety protocols and documentation standards in healthcare or social service environments
