Job Summary
Manage commercial real estate appraisal and consulting services by scoping requests, bidding, and awarding external suppliers. Execute detailed reviews of valuation reports for policy compliance, vendor performance monitoring, and quality assurance. Process invoices, resolve first-level disputes, and develop vendor statements of work. Lead client team training and supervise procurement or review teams as needed. Requires an active State-Certified General Real Estate Appraisal Credential and 5+ years of commercial appraisal experience. Full-time, 40-hour first shift in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Active State-Certified General Real Estate Appraisal Credential
- 5+ years commercial real estate appraisal experience
- Intermediate proficiency in the use of the following software applications: Argus and/or Rockport Val, (cash flow software), Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet)
- Basic proficiency in other department programs including: Microsoft Word (word processing)
- An in-depth working knowledge of valuation theory and methodology for commercial and residential appraisals
- Able to write concise technical opinions in language comprehensible to expert and layman alike
- Able to work independently in a remote setting
- Commercial appraisal review experience for federally-regulated banking institution or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years commercial appraisal review experience for federally regulated banking institution or equivalent
- MAI designation
- Bachelor's degree (financial degree or equivalent)
