Job Summary
Join the Commissioning team as a Summer Intern focused on hands-on experience in office and field settings. You will assist with ongoing projects, conduct research and analysis, support testing and QA of MEP systems, maintain project documentation, generate reports and meeting minutes, participate in onsite functional performance testing, assist in trend reviews for mechanical systems, and engage in training on new control systems and MEP equipment. Opportunities include collaboration with cross-functional teams, exposure to project development, and participation in company events. Requirements include current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering or related studies, CAD/BIM proficiency, familiarity with HVAC/building commissioning, ASHRAE involvement a plus, proficiency with Excel/Microsoft products, and a valid driver's license for transportation. Schedule is in-office, 10-12 week Summer Internship starting June.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related studies
- FE/EIT is a plus
- Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards
- Familiarity with HVAC system design, and Building Commissioning is a plus
- Involvement in ASHRAE is a plus
- Must be proficient with Excel and Microsoft Products
- Must have a valid Driver's License and mode of transportation
- Ability to work in energetic, multi-engagement environment; teamwork; initiative; adaptability; detail-oriented
