Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients across the lifespan in an outpatient setting. Manage medication and provide therapy to a diverse population while maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and advocate for clients' access to services and medications. This 1099 independent contractor role requires a minimum of 16 clinical hours per week with at least one day onsite in Brentwood, TN. Compensation is based on 60% of net collections.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee
- Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
- Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA") number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances
- Minimum of 2 years' experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 5–80) in private practice
- Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment
- At least 1 day per week in person role based out of Brentwood, TN
- Minimum of 16 clinical hours per week
