Job Summary
Conduct triage by assisting and guiding patients through their visits, gathering medical histories, and performing vision testing and imaging. Prepare exam rooms, document clinical notes, and support physicians during treatments and procedures. Communicate clearly with patients and teammates to ensure a smooth, supportive experience from start to finish. Some days include travel between clinics, early mornings, or later hours with shared driving responsibilities. Requires a valid Texas driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Schedule varies based on assigned location, tasks, and physician, generally Monday to Friday with very occasional weekend days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Sitting up to 4 hours a day
- Standing and walking
- Talking and hearing both in person and by telephone
- Using hands to finger, handle and feel objects or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Stoop, kneel, bend, crouch
- Lift to 25 pounds on occasion
- Viewing multiple computer screens
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Depth perception
- Color vision
- Ability to adjust focus
