Job Summary
Weld structure and pipe using FCAW and TIG methods on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum while assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems and hydraulic equipment. Diagnose piping issues in the field and prioritize daily tasks with little to no supervision. Operate all necessary tools, read blueprints, and manage documentation using Microsoft Office and enterprise CMMS software. Work in a 24x7 manufacturing environment, potentially in tight spaces or clean rooms, while maintaining safety around hazardous chemicals and moving mechanical parts. Must be a Journeyman Pipefitter with industrial experience and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Journeyman Pipefitter with Industrial experience
- Must have good understanding of equipment/processes
- Must be able to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Must be able to weld structure and pipe FCAW and TIG (carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum)
- Must have extensive knowledge of Poly Pro/PVDF piping and welding
- Must be able to read and understand prints
- Must be able to diagnose piping issues and correct in the field
- Must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check
- Must be comfortable and proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, etc.)
- Must be able to learn new office applications quickly
- Must be familiar with enterprise CMMS (Computer‐Aided Maintenance Management System) software and Confluence
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision on new projects or assignments
- Must be able to prioritize daily tasks
- Must be able to operate all necessary tools and equipment
- Must be able to position oneself in a tight fitting, FAB environment
- Must be able to work in a clean room
- Must be able to work in outside conditions that include weather, heat, and humidity
- Must be able to work shift duties in a 24x7 manufacturing environment
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and supervision
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and technical school certification preferred
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience
- Should demonstrate adaptability
- Effective communication skills to communicate with customer and supervision
