Job Summary
Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight and perform safety-critical duties in compliance with FMCSA regulations. responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining required records, handling hazardous materials requirements, ensuring cargo security, using in-cab technology and electronic logs, potentially performing dock work (loading/unloading) and local/ regional runs, providing professional customer service, and adhering to safety and company policies. Required qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, Class A CDL, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, hazmat and tanker endorsements, English proficiency, and the ability to meet FMCSA medical/road test requirements. Must be able to operate in various terrains and environmental conditions and reside within 75 miles of the service center. Regular attendance and ability to work with or without supervision are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Doubles endorsements may apply
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
- Must speak and read English
- Must reside within 75 miles of the domicile/work assignment
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs
- Legal work authorization in the United States
