Combination Welder - Austin Industrial (Houston, TX)

Welder - Combination responsible for joining metal parts such as pipes or plates using heat or electric arc-welding equipment in accordance with layouts, blueprints, work orders, or welding procedures. Duties include welding and tacking pieces, uniting pipes, controlling flame temperature, preheating pieces, filling holes, inspecting welds for specifications, climbing scaffolds or ladders as needed, and coordinating with crane operators. Requires 4+ years journeyman-level experience, a Weld Test, valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.
