Job Summary
Operate various types of equipment, including combi and counterbalance forklifts, to manage goods and perform order picking tasks accurately. Utilize the Warehouse Management System to track inventory and assist in heavy lifting up to 50 pounds as required. Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure functionality and safety while maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to all safety protocols. Full-time position with 40-44 hours per week at $21.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar role within warehouse management or distribution
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience operating forklifts or clamp trucks
