Catering Server at the Columbus Zoo handling catering and banquet events. Deliver warm, welcoming, and memorable guest experiences, serve guests according to requested serving style, communicate with expo and kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct, maintain knowledge of menu items and dietary information, oversee quality and inventory of products, fulfill guest needs quickly and efficiently, execute setup, service, teardown, and cleanup for events, perform back-of-house and front-of-house duties for overall productivity, express knowledge of menus and food service techniques with guests, perform required manual labor, support placement and movement of rental items, and assist supervisors with problem-solving during events. Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with clients and staff, uphold company policies, and participate in inclusive and sustainable team initiatives. Ideal candidate is a team player who is personable, professional, energetic, and proactive, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10-35lbs, and to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
