Job Summary
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure they meet safe food preparation standards. Work with the kitchen team to store equipment properly and maintain a sanitary, organized work environment through sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces. Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles while ensuring proper waste separation. Maintain cleaning schedules for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and assist with event setup and tear-down when needed. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary to support the kitchen team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to work standing for long periods of time
- Experience with MSDS knowledge and upholds active practice of cleanliness in the dish area while maintaining protocol for dish liquid use
- Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with fast-paced dish pit environment preferred
