Job Summary
Conduct hair color consultations, shampooing, conditioning, and styling services including blow drying, flat ironing, and curling to 100% guest satisfaction. Execute chemical services while ensuring the Hair Color Bar meets standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory security. Drive revenue by increasing average service tickets through additional services, unlimited roots memberships, and retail sales. Demonstrate teamwork skills to support Assistant Colorists through coaching and care while fostering a focused environment. Maintain flexibility for peak business times and stay up to date on Madison Reed products and service offerings through ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying
- 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair within a salon environment
- Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills, in a fast-paced retail or salon environment
- Comfortable operating point of sale systems
- Fluency in English
- Availability at peak times
