Job Summary
Colorectal Surgery RN role in Stamford with responsibilities to coordinate and develop patient care using the Nursing Process, provide supervision and mentorship to non-RN staff, manage patient flow, document in EMR, obtain vitals and clinical data, assist with specimen collection and minor procedures, provide patient education, schedule testing, and participate in meetings and ongoing education. Requires CT RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of related experience; strong communication, medical terminology knowledge, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid license as Registered Nurse in CT
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position.
- Excellent customer service / communication skills.
