Job Summary
Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards, checking parts against orders to ensure proper components are received. Prepares vehicles for body repair work and notifies management of additional repairs, difficulties, or changes to promised time. Maintains required safety and health personal equipment, including respirators, and complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to hazardous materials and waste disposal. Cooperates with other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles while demonstrating behaviors consistent with Company values in all interactions. Group 1 Collision Center in Houston is growing and seeks a qualified technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, delivering quality, safety, and precision on every repair.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Collision Repair Technician, with heavy structural collision and frame experience, required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
- Ability to read and following instructions on repair/estimate orders
Desired Qualifications
- ICAR or ASE certifications in auto body repair, painting and estimating, a plus
- Certificate from Vocational School in Collision a plus
