Job Summary
Inspect, assess, and repair vehicle body and frame damage in accordance with estimates, manufacturer guidelines, and OEM specifications. Perform structural and non-structural repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, frame straightening, and reassembly. Utilize measuring systems and frame machines to ensure proper realignment while maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe condition. Collaborate with estimators and team members to review repair plans and verify parts accuracy. Wear required PPE and comply with all safety, environmental, and hazardous materials regulations. Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs meet company and customer expectations. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in autobody repair or collision repair
- Proficiency with collision repair tools and equipment
- Ability to read repair estimates and work orders
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to do consistent physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting and standing for long periods
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs
