Collision Repair and Refinish Technician

Job Summary
Prepare work by studying work orders, bills of materials, and blueprints. Sand, mask, and prep bodies and parts before paintwork begins, then apply bondo, seam sealer, and final finishing sanding. Wet sand and polish custom-colored bodies and doors while disposing of hazardous waste in accordance with federal and state laws. Maintain a clean, safe work area and wear required PPE including respirators and paint suits. Participate in continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions within your direct control. This role supports Summit Truck Bodies, LLC's expansion of custom service and lube truck bodies manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
- Must have experience in paint, collision repair and/or related field.
- Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
- Ability to read gauges, measurement tools, blueprints and work orders.
- Keen attention to detail is required.
- Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen.

- Some technical training helpful.
