Job Summary
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing the end-to-end parts process for each repair order. Key duties include ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning parts; verifying parts accuracy and quality against production schedules; communicating customer requests to team members; coordinating with vendors; maintaining part invoices in the MIS; tracking parts by RO number; monitoring price changes (PPI) and ensuring timely parts distribution to the shop; reconciling invoices and ensuring proper documentation. Requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, experience with automotive parts, and familiarity with MES/MIS systems (Summit, Repair Centre) and industry tools (Mitchell, Audatex, Car-part, Progi, LKQ). I-CAR Registered (progressing toward Gold Class) with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts
- Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritize tasks
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Experience with Management Information System: Summit, Repair Centre
- Knowledge of Mitchell, Audatex
- Parts sourcing: Car-part, Progi, APU, LKQ
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
