Job Summary
Collision Estimator writes estimates for collision repairs, conducts process reviews, checks in customer vehicles, completes final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery, administers total-loss processes, and provides post-repair status updates to customers while adhering to safety rules and company guidelines. The role requires 2+ years of collision estimating experience (sales experience preferred), a valid driver’s license, eligibility for the company’s insurance policy, and a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License, with familiarity in CCC1 or similar estimating software and a solid understanding of repair procedures. Exceptional customer communication and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are important; the position sits within Caliber Collision’s broader service-center network and emphasizes delivering a positive customer experience and restoring the rhythm of customers’ lives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of collision estimating experience
- sales experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License
- Prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
- Ability to understand repair process/procedures
- Strong sales orientation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
