Collision Center Manager

Job Summary

Plan and implement daily Collision Center operations to ensure KPIs and insurance metrics are met. Lead the repair shop team by establishing goals, communicating performance objectives, and managing estimates to achieve labor mix standards. Direct the repair process, review supplemental damage with technicians and adjusters, and quality inspect work assignments randomly. Manage relationships with insurers, vendors, and major customers while controlling overhead expenses and monitoring receivables. Maintain a clean facility, ensure staff safety compliance, and facilitate training to continuously improve personnel skills. Open and close the facility daily, attend operations meetings, and proactively manage customer service and quality assurance levels.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role
  • 3+ years managing a team
  • Good knowledge of the insurance claims process
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful client experience
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills
  • All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment
  • Successful background check
  • Drug testing
  • Post secondary education or equivalent
  • 5+ years leading a collision or repair shop department

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in collision repair or related field
