Job Summary
Perform structural, body, and cosmetic vehicle repairs according to OEM procedures, including teardowns, damage assessments, metal straightening, welding, and panel replacement. Ensure proper fit, alignment, and finish while coordinating with estimators to identify repair variances and collaborating with the parts department to verify correct components. Maintain clean work areas, follow safety protocols, and prepare vehicles for the paint department through priming and sanding. Conduct quality checks throughout the repair process to support final inspection readiness. Requires valid Red Seal Certification, 2–5+ years of experience, and ability to read repair plans. Full-time role with competitive hourly pay ranging from $30.00 to $38.00 CAD.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal Certification
- Valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- 2–5+ years of collision repair experience in a body shop or OEM certified facility
- Strong knowledge of collision repair methods, OEM procedures, welding, and structural repair techniques
- Experience with body shop tools, equipment, welders, frame racks, and repair materials
- Ability to read and interpret repair plans, OEM bulletins, and blueprinting documentation
- Strong attention to detail
